I'm brand new to growing tobacco and this is my second harvest. My first harvest I just sun dried and it turned a very pale tan (little flavor). I'm trying to cure this harvest on the kitchen table (fan always on, flip twice a day) and this is the only leaf out of 8 that has this dark color. Is this color curing or is it a black mold? I don't understand why this leaf is so different. All other leaves are green like the bottom right corner of the 1st pic. 2nd and 3rd pic are some close ups.IMG_20211213_191344329.jpgIMG_20211213_191355894.jpgIMG_20211213_191413849.jpg

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. It would be helpful to know what variety or varieties you have grown, how they were grown, and how the leaf was harvested. Is this your second year growing, or the second priming of leaf?

Welcome from me in NZ.
I don't see anything like mold in the pictures. I also wonder about drying the leaves flat on a table, even with a fan going you are only addressing one side of the leaves. You would be better to hang them. I agree with
@deluxestogie introduce yourself and tell us about your climate etc.
Start a grow blog as well, these are handy for reference and can save errors occurring in your next grow.
