90°F in the shade is fine if your humidity is 50/60% or above. Leave it out. Remember the wind will beat up really dry leaf badly. (Tell your Mrs. she owes me one. LOL)

90°F = 32.2°C. 40°C=104°F What is the shed floor? If dirt, wet it down too. If concrete old carpet wet down good works fine too.

You'll get humidity and some cooling from evaporation.

Those are some really beautiful leaves. Nice job. If you can't find carpet, you can lay down some plastic sheeting to make clean up easier and spread some hay or straw or leaves or anything that will hold water. Try to get a Hygrometer(?) so you can know exactly what the humidity around the leaves truly is. Going by the weather report won't work. I see you have your leaves in bunches and that's good. They share the moisture from each other. If you go back to the shed, bunch the bunches even closer together than is shown in the picture. Is your shed open or closed? Use your thermometer and hygrometer and experiment with closing the shed up. It will help hold moisture, but may also drive up the temps. You'll just have to play with that. If your humidity goes up at night, definately open up the shed and take advantage of it. It's the average humidity you have to think about. Misting the leaves can help, but I think like Johnlee said, your best bet is to get something that will hold alot of moisture onto your floor, and play with opening and closing the shed during higher humidity and lower temperature times.

Is the shed insulated? If not, you can lower temperature several degrees by using a lawn sprinkler on the roof. Set the pressure as low as you can go, trying to achieve a balance between good coverage and not wasting water.

Any idea what your average rel. humidity is? What is your water supply and how expensive is it? I color cure in a closed sun porch with pretty good luck. How tight is the garage>

humiditys is usually abou 50-60% water not to much of an issue, and the sheds about 7 1/2 meters long by 4 1/2 meters wide, and not insulated.
And the back porch is all open with clear plastic roof,I've cover the plastic with a tarp. to keep the heat(sun) down(out)its usually about 94-96f when its hot

It has weather board style tin on sides so iv trying to rip nails out on the bottom side of the top strip of tin to be able to use it as vents, looks like it should work..I can get about a two inch gap.may even take the whole 4inch strip off

In that case I'd consider Knucks sprinkler suggestion. Low flow or a timed solenoid or maybe even a temperature controlled solenoid. The sprinkler would also help increase the humidity a bit.

Im pulling out all the nails along the bottom side of the weather board type tin at the top sides of the shed at the mo. And jamming 2inch blocks all the way along to create a vent..I may just take the whole strip off if this isn't enough?

Generally a fan is introduced during high humidity conditions to help combat mold, so you may just be moving hot air around and make your problem worse. I think if you can sprinkle the roof during the daytime to bring down the temp, put down some plastic and hay, keep it wet to bring up humidity, and monitor your conditions with a thermometer and humidistat you should be ok. I'm in a part of the country that won't have your conditions, so hopefully someone will weigh in that has to fight the same battle that you are. Good luck, it would be a pisser to come this far only to have your leaf dry green.
