That is a cool link cigar man Ran. Did You find that searching the Vuelta Abajo. I didn't know it originated in cuba.

1580 Tobacco planting begins in the Vuelta Abajo of western Cuba.

Last year Don had it listed as one of the one's he needed help to grow out.. I looked at his entire list and was intriqued by Vuelta Abajo.The Vuelta Abajo seed was obtained from GRIN. I knew that region of Cuba was infamous for cigar growing so I figured this might be my best change at getting "real" Cuban seed.

I'm still waiting to smoke my fist one, hopefully tommorrow while I'm working on my car.

Actually I should clarify that. I tell my wife I'm smoking a cigar while working on the car. What I actually do is kick back, smoke a cigar and contenplate the task at hand... then I get to it.

Its amazing how you can sit down and smoke a cigar and decide all the unnecessary steps you can eliminate for the task at hand.
