To dispel the rumor, I’m not a spammer trying to sell anything here. I’m a seasoned gardener looking to grow some tobacco in the spring. I also like cigars but don’t enjoy the price at the humidor so much. I also have lots of equipment that I use for my small business which allows me to build stuff.

@Wolffman Being such a new member probably makes you seem more suspect. I think Bob gives a hard eye to all the newbies, but he's not so bad. If I have any more product-specific questions or requests, I'll send them to you privately. I'm looking forward to seeing your grow next year. I'm planning on my first tobacco grow next year as well. I've successfully grown quite a few things, including watermelon, but next year will be my first tobacco grow. I'm expecting lots of fun learning experiences as I needlessly complicate things for myself.

I would be interested in seeing what you come up with. This is the kind of project that could be quick and simple, or could be developed as much as you want. Maybe we should ask the more experienced cigar guys exactly what features would be most useful packed into a little tablet?

You're looking to do a multiple ring gauge mold I think, right? That's an interesting project that has not been done before, as far as I know.
Here's my input as a roller:
- keep the ring gauge cavities in multiples of 2 so both sides of the wrapper leaf are used
- incorporate ring gauge sizes used in Cuban vitolas that are desirable, unusual, or hard to find right now: i.e. 34, 38 , 42 (or 44), 46, 48, 50, 52, 54
- 7" is a good length for a mold: you can always roll the dolls shorter

It's my tendency to want my tools to always be capable of doing a bit more than I would ever demand of them. So, I might want a 10 inch mold. Why? Because I might one day want to or have some silly reason to roll a cigar that is actually that big. Even though part of the mold would go unused for years, I like the rest of it being there just in case. I like options.
@Wolffman I know what it's like to make a generous offer only to have the parameters of the job change on you later. We'll try to keep our dreams attainable.
