New member and burley questions: @Koedman

Hello everyone,
New to the thread and growing tobacco, 2nd year.

I am currently growing, Virginia, Golden Burley, TN90 and Maryland. Can anyone explain the difference and maybe some taste characteristics, if any sugar content etc. for the Golden Burley, TN90 and Maryland tobacco?

If you cure your Golden Burley, TN90 and Maryland tobaccos correctly, they will contain very low levels of fructose, glucose, sucrose, and similar sugars. A lab that uses typical tobacco sugar analyses would likely report that that sugars are below the level of quantitation. JHL
