Oddly, i was detecting a slight hint of sulfur and an interesting taste of EGG in the smoke.

How old is the tobacco and what did you light it with?

You're not crazy but that sounds like you didn't dry it off enough and were smoking too hot. Virginias for me tend to taste like sulfur if I smoke them too hot and too wet.

Did you use a match and not let the head burn off completely?

butane lighter, xikar butane.

i had it drying 15 minutes. smoked another load yesterday. 40 minute drying time. no sulfur but a slight eggy taste at the edges.

wasnt smoking hard,
