Hi folks,
Yesterday I was in a hurry and in my haste, I sprayed too much water on my Besuki leaves (which I use for binder leaf in this batch) before putting them in a ziplock bag in an attempt to case them quicker.
My original plan was to pull the leaves out of the bag as soon as they loosened up and dab the excess moisture off with a paper towel. But, as I said, I was in such a hurry for a dinner appointment that I completely forgot about the leaves right after putting them in the ziplock.
So now the leaves have been soaking for a whole night. I did my best to remove the excess moisture, but they're still so damp that they're semi-transparent. The surface is a little sticky right now. They smell fine though.
What I'm worried about is, are my leaves still usable? The paper towels I used to dab the leaves turned brown, so I assume all the goodness has come out of them. Or, even if they're tasteless now, will the cigar be fine since it's only the binder leaf?
