I modified a Missouri Meerschaum clay pipe for cigarette tobacco use.

The original:

I put the bowl and bit on a belt sander (180 grit) and took off some height of bowl, and length of bit. Hand sanded the sharp edges by hand (180 grit).
Great for a quick smoke. Too many times I snub out half a cigarette from impatience or the cold and there goes half my tobacco. This will be great in the winter or when I’m too hyper to stay out on the porch for a whole cigarette. It tastes like a cigarette without the paper taste. Inhale is fine.
Just a pinch of tobacco. The pinch in the photo is loose. I tried it once and got probably ten inhales, not counting the puffs and exhales to keep it going or the relights and exhales to avoid the butane taste. I can use my pinky as a tamper, I couldn’t do that before shortening the bowl. The overall length is equal to the height of my tee shirt pocket.
