Hello, newb here. My question is thus: it possible to grow a second crop after the first if you live in the subtropics or tropics? I tried using the search feature but couldnt find a thread on this.
I ask because I live in south Texas, grew N. rustica this spring and I have started a second tray of seedlings, this time of N. tabacum varietals. Since the summer is so long here (we generally do not get another freeze until January) I am interested in running a second crop.
Am I way off? Does anyone in the tropics have multiple crops of tobacco like with corn?
Any thoughts welcome.
