Seeking info on African Red

I would like to know more about African Red. I am going to plant it this year. All I know is it is a flu cure, does not need a lot of aging to smoke. Will someone that has grown this please tell me more about this type.

That's one I'll be growing too. It's the tallest one i have from the information I gathered on it. This is my first grow, so I can tell you anything from experience. The link Don left makes me want to grow more than I planned too, lol.

Here is what I gathered for info on it:

Height: Up to 96" (untopped)
Leaf Length: 28"
Leaf Width: 12"
Leaf Number: 28 (topped)
Plant Form: Columnar
Leaf Color: Light Green
Air Cured Color: Light Reddish Brown

Bright Leaf from South Africa.
Cigarette (mild - comparable to Virginia Golds)

Days to Maturity: 80

I have these planned to space at 24"

Sounds like a winner to me...
