Smoke center vein?

A few of the cigar rolling videos I've seen show filler tobacco being used w/o removing the center vein. As a general rule, do you remove or just smoke it as well?

Were the leaves you saw frog legged or did they have the entire stem intact? I always remove the stem. Even shredding for cigarettes I remove all the stem that's larger than the secondary veins. If the leaves were frog legged, where the largest part of the stem were already removed, I guess you could get by without removing the rest of it.

When first learning to roll cigars, you may find that removing the stem will prevent a lot of wrapper punctures. The butt of the stem is nearly always too thick and angular to include in a cigar. The smaller areas of the stem will burn well, but I still remove them.

I'd like to see those videos. We would be able to understand what you're talking about a lot better.
