They look awfully green to have just died. What type of soil? Did you use some type of additional fertilizer?

I water them from the top on the side so I do not disturb the seed.
I used regular potting soil, watered with the fish tank water.
all the other sprouts are fine these have been like this for about 3 days now.
lights too close and got them too hot ?
I am baffled .

too wet, maybe
cold, no, they are sitting on my 500 gallon solar hot water tank it stays in the high 80's in that room.

Put the pan back exactly like it was before and take a thermometer and lay on top and see what temp it was .

I would use a fine soil , that looks clumpy for tobacco to me . It could start a mold at the bottom of the plants and on the roots .My opinion.

I used earthgrow natural potting soil. it is not clumpy just looks that way in the pics. I think for some reason they did get fried I did lower the lights about the time they started to look droopey.
