I Think as long as it has made it to customs by July 1st it should be sweet. From there on I couldn’t care how long they hold it for. I was thinking of 12lbs but I’ve read on these forums about an 8lb limit- does anyone know if this still applies?

It use to be 7lb limit which added up to $400 but now I think customs has changed the GST limit to $1000 NZD so you can order a bit more. This is plus shipping.

You can order as much as you want but once it gets over $1000NZD you have to pay GST.

And at what point is it deemed commercial and gets the duty tax? I’m not too worried about the gst - heck that’s only The cost a 50g tin of pipe tobacco.

Is anyone in NZ planning on ordering some leaf before the law change? (Through the forwarding company)

If so, I'd very much like to pay someone for a bit space in their delivery, happy to go halves on all costs.
