An acute secondary vein angle only presents a problem with narrow leaves. With wider leaves, you often can cut two wrappers from each leaf half. If you are expecting to use a narrow leaf for a binder or wrapper, my diagram shows how large a cigar circumference it is capable of wrapping.

I know this is resurrecting an old thread, but I notice that NWT now lists "Tennessee Red Leaf" as an "heirloom Burley". http://nwtseeds.com/Tennessee Red Leaf.htm. The color of the listing indicates it's a 2023 addition, but I'd swear I didn't see it there a few months ago when I ordered seeds.

This is different from earlier reports/claims that it's a flue-cured variety. Sigh... and I think I have some mixed in with my VA Bright Leaf, and it's been flue cured. Oh well. Chalk it up to learning curve!

So we're back where we started, I guess... conflicting reports and not really sure what it is.

Random question: Listed under the Characteristics tab is the following:

"Aromatic type: Skeletal"

I've seen several varieties described as "skeletal" but I have no idea what that means. Anyone have any idea?
