That's some very sad news.
Marc contributed and shared a lot with our community, I wished I knew him better.
All my thougths go for his family and all the people who love him.

I am too far to ask for one of his (always beautifull) cigars, but I will smoke my next one for his memories.

I hope you are now in a better place.
We will miss you Marc.

I am sorry to hear this sad news!!! Marc was one of the very first people who welcomed me to this site close to 3 years ago and offered his vast wealth of knowledge in rolling cigars which I was very very new. I am still new as I have had to take a Hiatus from rolling cigars, (or "Zombie Cigars" as I called them because they were definitely not pretty), but I am getting back into it again.
I will have one of my new "Zombie Cigars" I have recently rolled in Marc's honour!!!
Rest Easy Marc!!! You will be missed!!!

It is with the deepest regret and heartfelt sorrow that I have to report the loss of a longtime member and friend MarcL. Marc passed away on March 7th due to complications after heart surgery. Marc selflessly shared his knowledge with everyone who wanted or needed it.

I'll be receiving some of his personal belongings that include a bunch of cigars Marc rolled. These cigars will be distributed to whoever wants one or some and after everyone receives them, we'll dedicate a date and time when we'll all light up in remembrence of Marc.

R.I.P. MarcL

Is it too late to participate in this? I would like to smoke one of his cigars in his memory. Though we were good friends in the cigar rollers netherworld I never met him nor smoked one of his cigars. I would very much like to smoke one and think about him. I know a lot of people who are still shocked about this.

Some of his work now posted in the Key Forum Threads in a photo album
