Very limited quantities available. Whole Leaf Tobacco offers a special tobacco blend of Red Virginia and Brightleaf that is threshed, or stripped. Also known as “smoking tobacco”, it is the highest grade used primarily for traditional pipe tobacco. This threshed tobacco is whole leaf that has had the mid-rib removed.

Considerably higher in vitamin N, this is more comparable to a Viso or Ligero, as opposed to the first batch, which was similar to a Seco. The leaves are short but can be used as a double binder, wrapper for small cigars, and filler. There is little to no tongue bite.

Burley is a traditional component of an American-style cigarette. This tobacco has been redried using very high heat, which helps drive off many of the harsh aspects of ordinary Burley. The tobacco is threshed/stripped, so, by federal law, we can only sell it in 5-kilo bags.

Unlike the cigar “forms” that are available, our molds eliminate the risk of your leaf “spilling” and creating seams or ridges on the sides of the cigar bunch. These molds are the same design used for over 150 years.

Molds may have slight imperfections, but nothing that will detract from a proper finished product.

This Fire Cured tobacco is typically used as Grabba. Grabba is usually shredded or cut into small pieces and mixed or blended with other products.  For wrapper quality leaf, please use LaRose or Black Fronto..
