5 kw is going to draw around 18 to 20 amps running 230v a/c double it for 115v NEC says you have to run a #10 wire to it. You should see about $6.48 per hour of run time @ 230v.

I have tried everywhere it is a week out . I can get 6 in on pipe side but by time I reduce it I think it will be to long to fit in.Do you have a hvac supply warehouse anywhere near you? That is a common item in anyone of them. That's a floor boot for a mobile home.
Good idea on the door swing for the wire. I was concerned about thatIt's a big job even if ya don't build the box, Hang in there you'll get her. Like Deluxe say's you can pick and hang it out of the way than load it later.
I had leaf strung and laying on the floor most of the day today.
That box is looking good.....I see ya got some insulation on too....
Maybe put a piece of chain or something from the door to the body to stop the swing. Looks like it will be tight than ya can keep wire to a minimum.
