Hello,
since I wanted to order some cigar tobacco from WLT to Germany I wanted to ask other members here for their experiences with ordering from WLT to Europe/Germany.
I know that german customs law says, that unprocessed tobacco (classified as non-smoking tobacco) has not got any customs/taxes besides the import tax of 19% which im fine with, but apparently there are some instances where customs wrongly classify whole leaves as smoking tobacco.
Is there a way for this to be prevented, as in WLT could add a paper describing the tobacco as stems-in whole leaf tobacco (e.g. raw, unprocessed), as I heard that something similar was done in shippings to Canada?
Last question, as the Equador Dark Binder just went out of stock, what would you recommend me to order as a binder instead?
My blend would have been:
Equador Maduro Wrapper
Equador Dark Binder
Nicaragua Esteli Ligero, Viso and Seco
Also, if using the named tobaccos in making a cheroot/cigarillo, would you use viso or seco for the filler?
Thanks in Advance
