Five days ago I begin my growing season and sowed only two strain due to the situation of general health. I use my standard method with the seeds in little cup floating in my aquarium at 25 C and 100% RU. Today this are the results.

This are the seedling after twelve days. Strangely the grow is a lot different. Yellow Pryor on the left is low and bushy and Vuelta Abajo on the right is high and a little spindly.

Six of each have been transplanted in the tray and will stay indoor for a week or two.

I saw one of your past grow logs from the key thread page and was pleasantly surprised that you're recording another this year (I am new to this site and just started a tray for the first time).

I do hope you stay safe with the current situation, however.

I will soon start my seedlings. However, I have a question in my head, how is it possible that your soil does not mold with 100% humidity?

Thank you Desert_pioneer. We hope to go ahead with this emergency as fast as possible.
For Petzi: under my aquarium the RU is 100%. The seedling stay inside permanently for about ten days and I see zero mold.
I have mold in others tray with wet soil but outside the aquarium. Perhaps the mold in permanent 100% humidity can not grow so fast?

The leafs are trimmed when the little seedling are in the trays to permit that the littlest can grow more and the biggest slow down in the meantime of transplant.
Trimming the leafs also generate a response in the roots to produce more nicotine as a defense against predators (the scissor that trim the leafs ;)).

Thank's. It's a big adventure and a risky adventure in this COVID times. But we had already do a lot of work and, if nothing unexpected happen, we hope to live in it from november.
Building a new home from zero have the advantage that you can design it for your's needs and your's dreams!
I put in an area to make a BIIIIIIIG aquarium in the living room, a BIGGGGGG room in the basement for my blacksmithing (I like to forge iron) and a BBBBBBIG room in the ground floor form my darkroom (I like to shoot, develope and wet print analog phothograph, do you still remember the camera in wich you put film?);)
