Figure I'd pipe in here.

My 3 best sellers are as follows:

1) Gambler Tube Cut
2) Premier
3) Shargio

I've just started carrying Shargio and @$1.99/box retail they are fast approaching the #2 position.

I saw someone mention they didn't know who made Shargio. They are produced by Inter-Continental Trading out of Ohio, the same manufacturer of OHM Pipe Tobacco which coincidentally is my biggest seller. One nice thing about Shargio's is they have a full 20mm filter whereas other manufacturers are much shorter. The downside to this is that on any typical cig machine you will get excess tobacco protruding from the end of your tube after injection.

Customers tend to tell me that Premier tear the easiest, and their menthol tubes like to slide off the machine prematurely from time to time.

Shargio runs factories out of mount prospect IL not ohio. OHM also get packaged in mount prospect. its near ohare airport. I know some people that run the tube making machines at one place. They are really strange there as they will lock the employees in during the work day and if you try to leave to go to get food at lunch they won't let them out. Like a prison gulag.

I'm using Smoking Deluxe Tubes (275) cca. 2$
Newer tried anything else. Satisfied, but I will start to find some other brand to see the difference....

What a good price for 275 pieces of tubes. That "Smoking" brand tubes are nearly $10 here. I'm using a Romanian made Bulgarian brand and paying $4 for 200 pieces

EDIT: Maks, you may probably find it there and its quality is nearly same with Smoking.

beretta tubes are supposedly whitened by oxidation no chlorine. anyone tried them?

I haven't tried the Beretta, but I do use the Vera Cruz Nocturne. The paper is the natural color of paper, brown. They aren't bleached.

Hi guys. I too am a fan of tubes. I have tried so many different types. At the moment I am using 'Imperator', I originally got them to kind of look 'cool' and to stand out from the crowd, as they are all black tubes, with 2 little gold bands at the filter. But I was really surprised at how good they taste. Used with just VFC they taste like a very expensive/luxury cigarette.
Apart from thos, I do like the Zens, and the different flavours you can get too.

If you're in the tobacco business, you need to give these black tubes a try. I've had them a couple days and keep having to answer questions about them. I tell folks I stuff them myself with whole leaf tobacco, then I talk about the forum and growing tobacco and whole leaf tobacco and buying tobacco. And they really listen, because they asked the questions to start with. The black ones are the Vera Cruz Midnight and the brown ones are Vera Cruz Nocturne. Both taste great, stuff great, and get some conversations started. Vera Cruz.jpg The black one was crushed all up and down it's length before I stuffed it but it stuffed fine except for a little bunching at the filter, I wasn't sure it would stuff at all. Shipping was kind of rough on that one. Straight ones stuff perfectly.

I rolled a few packs of Beretta tubes today and none tore and they didnt make any runs smoking them and they drawed easy except when my amateur ass packed them to tite. None busted but when i overfilled they did tear the lil peice off the end of tube where it is held by the powermatic 2.

I dont like the black filter tho. Makes me think I am one of the Goth dudes or something.

Yeah I think 5 boxes were 17$ shipping and all. I don't think they have holes but some of the tobacco I smoked just didn't put out a lot of smoke. And others were to much by themselves. I just started rolling my own so don't really know what to expect from a tube other than it is good one if it dont tear:)
Lites do have holes... Really frusterating. Maybe a ruff burley in one of those types would be a lil satisfying but I cant get much from a light cigerette myself.
