Yeah I tried the export A filters, don't like the small filters on them and the burn rate. Also ordered Peter Jackson filters and didn't like those either. So I tried the "MAKE YOUR OWN from Rizla" from ebay and it was the same filter and paper as the dumaurier pre 2024 switch to the white filters when i compared the two. Everyone i know who smokes dumaurier said the same thing, that when they came out with the new filters, it changed the smoke.

Where can I find hand tied or "Bigs orange and Dons Canadian"

Appreciate the help
You have to email big boner. Don's is WLT for Canadian. The method there would be the double bright leaf and the Canadian. The shop whole leaf page on the top will get you there. For the FYI Americans have no clue on Virginia tobacco. They just think it's bright leaf no offence guys. Even in bright leaf each different supply can have a different taste. It comes from the soil and region that it is grown in.

I tried messaging, but it won't allow me.

I cannot find this double bright leaf.

I found these two only.

Flue Cured Virginia Bright Leaf, 1lb. - I bought this one already
Flue Cured Threshed Lemon/Bright 5 kilogram (11 lb.) - Got a sample of this.

It changes over time. I try to get a bunch at a time as I don't smoke much so it lasts a while. I made a post earlier if something is there grab a bunch. The tobacco will change over the years and it doesn't go bad. Looking at the stock the red and the ripe maybe. The regular flue cured. I just had some from a long time ago and just opened it the red tips. That was great. That was a sample given like 9 years ago.

Alright, thanks for the tip. I will do that, hopefully double bright leaf comes back.

@BigBonner If you see this, please message me so I can buy some Orange.

It's different from Don's offering. The red you may like. Carolina ribbon works as well but has the odd taste to it and it's all good stuff. Carolina Virginia is an odd taste and you only need a little in a blend.

Yeah, I heard about red yesterday. I might give that one a try, too. My blend, 70% bright and 30% lemon, has an earthy flavour when I smoke it.

Any info on getting rid of the earthy flavour?

Never had an earthy flavour. The Canadian is excellent and the right amount of sweetness. That was out with the sale. I would go the Canadian mixed with or try 50/50 or with the red try a smoke first all red. I am smoking an old lemon from the very first order I made 10 years ago. Amazing you can leave them in the bags. It will change over time for always the better.
