Ok so everything came in. How do i store the leaves after I open them? Is there anything specific I need to do?

thanks. And looking at it I’m pretty sure I didn’t use enough filler. Another question since different leaves are used does anyone keep up with how much of each you put into each cigar?

Here's Bob's suggestion:
Stem the filler. You can leave the two halves of each leaf attached by 3 or 4 inches of central vein. Grab a leaf or two or three (depending on how fat a cigar you want), all aligned at the end you grab, and compress it firmly in one hand. Using your other hand, tear off all the leaves to the length of cigar you intend. Align the torn-off leaf to the top of the original leaves. Repeat, until all the leaf is used up. Even it out, it you want. With filler in low case, and rolling any cigar other than a thin, Lancero, I have found that I cannot compress it too much. I compress it all firmly, and roll the cigar in its binder.

For me, 3 large filler leaves will roll a 50-60 gauge, 6" honker. It's worth noting that it's easier to get the draw right on a fat cigar than on a thin one. {Bernoulli's equation)

Pics of the ends. I didn’t put a cap on it
I don't cap. Tried that on the first ones I rolled. It looks purty but it is sort of a PITA and you will be cutting it when you smoke, anyhow. Mostly I just run past the end and give it a twist. I do like to reinforce the head with a bit of leftover wrapper, though. I roll a lot of torpedo or perfecto type sticks and just carry the wrapper out to a point, as often as not.

Just fooling around with some stuff that WLT sells as "Low Grade Assorted Cigar Filler Leaf, $2.99 for 1/4 lb. There were actually some usable binder and wrapper leaves in there and only one leaf that didn't really look particularly useful as filler, at least. I rolled these three and three more from the three bucks worth of mystery bakky. Yeah, I know, I got the wrappers turned around ever which way with the veins running all helter skelter, but I don't care how purty they look, and I don't care if they will hold 4" of ash or not. The foot-long was mostly an exercise in let's see how big I can roll on this machine I made. I think I got it a hair too tight and when I actually smoke it I will probably be cutting off an inch at the head and two inches at the foot. The other two draw fairly well and should smoke just fine after a few days in the humidor to equalize and moderate the moisture.

Here's one I smoked a couple nights ago. Very enjoyable. The machine was a big help bundling this this biggun.

Plan B would be to get out your cigar glue, then cut the tight cigar in half, while holding the wrapper snug on the bottom, just below the cutter blade. A dab of glue, and you have two cigars.

LOL yeah that's one way, for sure. I would probably reinforce the cut end with a bit of scrap wrapper, to make the new head a little more durable.
