They smoke alright. They aren't where I want them blend wise, conistency, and the head isn't always firm.
I had some in the humidor for a bit to rest they taste really good now.

Care to share your new blend?
Oh my! Apologies on the delay on this one. Life has been a little busy on my end. Here are the blend details for the batch that I posted:

Wrapper: Brazil Mata Fina
Binder: Cameroon
Filler: Nicaraguan Condega Ligero
Dominican CV PABL
Nicaraguan Jalapa Viso
Dominican T-13 Viso
Nicaraguan Estelí Seco

I have yet to try the blend yet. Just did a big batch of em. Have a band designed for em, just need to put the rest on. Which reminds me… I need to snap a pic of the Havana 608 & Corojo ‘99 plants I have going outside.

how long do you leave the bunch
Depending on conditions, I have had them ready to roll in a couple of hours. Typically it is overnight before I wrap. If you are looking for some extra eyes on your process maybe start a new post where folks can offer some thoughts and suggestions?

Been wanting to try some short (~4") 60 rg scrap-fill sticks, and knocked out three today. They have a seem of Ec Maduro wrapper scrap in the middle, with the Ec Los Rios wrapper on the outside. Tried one as my first torpedo, and the other two as a poor man's box pressed (or shall we say, book pressed!)

I haven’t posted on here in at least a couple years but I had to post a comment to say I love the poor man’s boxpress! And with a Paul Tripp book as well!
