I've come to the conclusion that a single green leaf is better than 4 yellow ones, except when curing of course.

Why do I say I have a black thumb?

Here's the few habano plants which survived in my back yard:

Here's some of the same habanos in my surrogate gardener's yard:

Both pics snapped this afternoon. Same seeds, sprouted by the surrogate, same batch, backs yards about a mile and a half away.

Jeez.

Would get direct sun all day if it weren't raining all stinking day after day.

Likewise with the talking. I'd gladly site in the lawn chair under the elms and blow smoke at them if it wasn't such a dribbling swamp back there.

It's amazing how much you still look like your avatar. You haven't changed a bit except for adding some facial hair.

Jeepers Creepers! I stay away from the forum couple days too busy to peek and when I come back today it says I have 463 unread posts!

My poor plants, on the other hand, haven't been doing anything at all. Heat sun, rain, two weeks, and still in the same shape as my previous pic.

Well this was a miserable waste of time. My surrogate gardener, her plants were like eight feet tall. I have a pic somewhere. But it's not worth posting because at eight feet the bugs had eaten them holier than granny's doiley. Absolutely shredded.

Now, the plants I stuck in the ground here, they didn't get et. But the tallest one was maybe two and a half feet. I swear to gawd.

Not meant to be a farmer I guess.

It was a tough year on the East Coast and everywhere else. Try again next year you'll probably have better luck.

I agree. The rain came close to wiping me out early on. It took a superior intellect and unmatched growing skills to overcome the adverse conditions. I'm still only harvesting 50% of the projected weight. Hang in there, some of you are only human. ROFLMAO
