Ps, some very strong winds here last night, when I woke up my bigger little dutch had two snapped leaves, dark green and slain way before their time.. got them in a towel in an attempt to get some yellow going.

Some possibilities:
  • that specific location catches significant light or heat reflections, increasing its thermal stress
  • the plant has a root pathogen
  • the plant has some other pathogen
  • the soil in that pot retains less water
  • the stalk was injured by the wind
Try watering that one an extra time each day.

I'll give it an extra drink, its rained here today and yesterday but the soil in that point isn't super drenched so could do with topping up

Theoretically, if the plant dies or never really perks up again, can it produce any use able leaf?

I drowned 3/4 or more of my first grow, what wasn't containerized died for the most part. I had two or three stragglers either sucker or revive with enough time to be harvested. They weren't a full expression of their respective cultivars, they didn't have much flavor, but after curing and kilning them I was able to smoke them.

@MadFarmer good to know that you got something out of your flooded plants, they do seem a remarkably Hardy species of plant..

This is my poorly little dutch plant closer up, I spotted today it has a noticeably brown colour on its stalks.. none of my other plants have this brown appearance

Had a mild panic just now, its been heavily raining in London this week, humidity ranging between 80% and 55% , I checked the weather and was shocked to see a another full week of rain ahead,

I checked on my bottom leaves and mud leaves I've already got hanging in my shaded greenhouse and the leaves felt very damp indeed.. I panicked and brought them inside, the UK is due to get hot and dry again mid August. The brown leaves have been out there a week but my gut tells me in this rain mould may settle on them..

Indoors it is for another two weeks.
