Each package contains a bottle of casing for you to use according to your preference. Casing is a mixture of FDA approved food grade ingredients used to correct the raw aspects of the tobacco. Casing does not flavor the tobacco in so much as it makes it more palatable.

I recently purchased a pouch of Drum Halfzware Shag rolling tobacco. I made a cigarette expecting a treat only to be left disappointed. In all honesty, this whole leaf blend is much better than the Drum tobacco to a point that there is really no comparison between the two.

The last time I smoked the ORIGINAL Drum was 1995. I quit smoking until 2013 when I started up again, and the first thing I grabbed was a pouch of Drum. Little did I know that the blend had changed and was no longer anything like the ORIGINAL. I just received my order of this whole leaf blend and all I can say is THANK YOU! This is as close as I’ve found to the ORIGINAL Drum, and it is spot-on! As long as you sell it I will buy it!

Im Dutch and ordered this blend a bit sceptical, because I don’t like normal Drum Halfzware at all. I like Javaanse Jongens Tembaco (bit more heavy and less sharp) when in Holland. That said, I tried this blend and to be true, it resembles more to the Javaanse Jongens than to Drum. I was pleasantly surprised. From now on this is my blend here in the USA.

THANK YOU eternally for this blend. As soon as I opened the bag, I nearly hallucinated that I was in an old barn with a small wood fire going and tobacco hanging everywhere. There is really no comparison to the freshness. The casing is also really great. The bottle says to add one tablespoon of water, but I put more and it still tamed my shredded pile. Make sure you shred first, and easy on the casing! Let sit for an hour or more to dry, then store in a bag. The only other thing I wish I had now was a super fine shredder, like 0.3 mm, halfsware shag style. All I can find online is 0.8-1.11 mm.
