Just curious as to what you guys use to keep your humidity up at your rolling station.
My issue isn't getting the components into case it's a matter of keeping them there while I'm working with them. The air is dryer than a popcorn fart the past 4 days here. I'm trying to develop a system of different bags with each component seperated In their various leaf types and functions. I would just like a bit of breathing room so I can take a bit of time while rolling. Yesterday I tubed up my filler leaves then went to get a cup of tea. 3 min latter I went to roll and the leaves were crumbling. The air is sucking the moisture out of everything here right now.webmost built a conditioning chamber from a Coleman cooler. There are several posts about it but they are scattered somewhat. Here is a post with a photo:
Anyone "steam" their binders?
I received another lovely package of goodness from WLT the other week, and prepped some of it for rolling over the weekend. I usually spray my binders and wrappers into proper rolling case and let them sit in ziplocs for a few days to soften and even out. Any leftovers get returned to the...fairtradetobacco.com

@waikikigun, you have a much simpler approach to the imperfecto (TM) than I : Granted there was a lot of trimming after the photo, but it worked alright. It took me like half an hour to wrap. I almost cried when I smoked it.fairtradetobacco.com
Perhaps a Cooler-dor but for leaf rather than cigars? My issue isn't getting the components into case it's a matter of keeping them there while I'm working with them. I dont want to get everything too wet because I like to smoke the cigars within a day or so.
I hope all that makes sense haha
I remember GDaddy used a $20 oil diffuser as his solution for this problem.I have seen those small ultrasonic diffusers made for essential oils. I was just curious if anyone is using them.
I have been getting somewhat frustrated with everything drying out while I'm still working with it. Was just hoping to find something to buy me some time while I'm fumbling around. I'm still quite the newbie at rolling
Pretty sure your wife's gonna be out of luck. Totally solved the problem for GDaddy.Yesterday I bought a small ultrasonic diffuser for $20 to give it a try. I havnt rolled any cigars yet but I'll let everyone know if it makes much differance.
I think my wife is hoping it won't help because she will use it for essential oils.
It's a win win either way
I have 3 that I'm gonna use in as yet unfinished Kiln I might try one out on my next shredding exercise. I'll let you know if it works. Keep us posted on your progress, I'll watch with interest.I'm having that issue right now here. Our RH is about 25% here the past week. I can't keep anything hydrated.
My humidifier is a little smaller than yours but I'm sure it will work.
