Just finished hanging the Havana 142. 30 plants from BB. The jap beetles really ate this stuff up.

My little air drying in the garage. I used to fill this whole garage up. What was I thinking.
when Jacob complains about helping do sticks for the kiln, I say we can hang them then.
No way he says it takes too long, and helps doing sticks with a smile. 2 bucks a stick is Good Money for a 12 yr old. Less than two hrs. To do 8 sticks. Approx. 1200 leaf.

Love to hear someone teaching their young UN's the value of a dollar and work ethic. That is rare these days. Two thumbs up.

Thank you Very Much. Yes I spoil my kids but they know we are not Rich. They get used eBay Ect used presents for there birthdays if it is a high dollar item. They are more than happy with them.
I keep all the radiators and condensers from the wrecks and Jacob cleans all the plastic and steel off them a couple times a yr. He gets to keep half the money. But 3 /4 of his money from it goes into his college fund his gramps set up for him. He has more money saved than me.

Grow of the year candidate.
Na, I think it would be between you and delux. And a lot of folks that have done very well this yr. Heck if you had bad luck you are in. Chit you gave it a try, Thats what Counts dont give up if you enjoy it. If i can do It so can you.
Really it don't matter who grows the most or best. It is about enjoying what you do and enjoying the fruits of your harvest and LABOR.

In past years, I've always leaf-primed my PA Red. Right now, I have 16 PA Red plants from which only the lugs have been primed. You have inspired me to stalk-cut the lot of them. Now, if I can only get some dry weather.

I did learn a lot this year about how much tobacco can be neglected and still provide a good crop. Lol.

Grgfinny and I fought much the same battle, work taking to many hours to really do things right, like you guys that have already paid your dues to employment and have more time.

The only way we get better is to push the limits. Physically, mentally, emotionally, you pick.

I work 5 1/2 days a week. It can get very overwhelming at times. I enjoy that it keeps what left of my mind and body stimulated.
